Female Suspect Arrested Following Reported Gas Supply Tampering at Two Sydney Hospitals
A female individual has been arrested after hospital gas systems were allegedly sabotaged at two metropolitan hospitals.

Sutherland Hospital in the city's southern suburbs experienced disruption to critical gas supplies on early Tuesday, requiring them to switch to mobile gas alternatives as part of their contingency plans, as stated by medical authorities.
"The cause behind the disruption of gases is alleged to be intentional interference," authorities stated.
Officials stressed that "{To allegedly do this represents extreme recklessness. It could have been catastrophic outcomes."
Law Enforcement Response
NSW police confirmed receiving reports of "suspected intentional damage at multiple medical facilities in the Caringbah area." It's understood that the second location was a nearby private hospital.
Authorities claim a 42-year-old woman entered the grounds of a hospital on Kareena Road premises at approximately just after midnight on Tuesday and "cut both the water and gas mains, then turning on emergency water systems."
Investigators additionally claim that at approximately early morning, "the suspect accessed the property of another hospital on the same street ... and allegedly switched off the gas main."
The individual was apprehended in Miranda at about 4 AM on Tuesday morning for breach of bail, police confirmed.
Medical Facility Recovery
Medical authorities stated that medical gas supplies were returned to operation by hospital teams and local health district "within approximately two hours."
"I want to assure the public there was no impact to patient care and that the facility has returned to operating as per normal," authorities announced.
They added that "Entry to gas systems in public medical facilities is restricted. We will review the incident to see what improvements can be put in place."
Authorities disclosed that the woman allegedly climbed over a barrier at Sutherland hospital and entered to a secured zone.
